My Birthday

This wasn't different from any ordinary day
The same wind that kissed me was blowing from bay
The same sun that smiled at me had risen from east
The same food that I would gulp was placed for feast.

People were in a hurry to complete their chores
While winter birds were fluttering over the sea shores
In a hurry, in a jiffy I left for my job
Only to be greeted with slangs by the mob.

It was same old fun with colleagues out there
And the evening passed away in despair
I came back home with tiredness and stress
And went for a bath to become cool and fresh.

As I sat on my desk to pen down my thoughts
I thought about my fights, I thought about applauds
Suddenly my sight went where the calendar laid
And I realised that it was my birthday....

If I could...

Sometimes I wonder, if I could just
Fill up my heart, with love, till the brink
Excitingly waiting to go back home
And pouring out my love to her and shrink
In her waiting arms as all my sentiments roam.

Sometimes I wonder, if I could just
Caress her hairlocks and get them unplugged
As she combs her hair, waiting eagerly for me
I grab her from back and gift her a bear hug
Surprisingly she smiles and makes me tire free.

Sometimes I wonder, if I could just
Fill my mouth with words full of praises
That boosts her ego and makes her love me more
As I hand out a bouquet filled with roses and daisies
And take out her emotions that remains unexplored.

Sometimes I wonder, if I could just
Drive away her pains, her griefs and dissatisfactions
For all those moments when I left her isolated
By gifting her a kiss for her neverending affections
And give her all my love, as the time stands waited.

The Messiah is Back !!!

Well well well.... It has been a long time since I had posted something fruitful on my blog. And there cannot be a better occassion to write than this one. This is also my first uploaded picture on my blog. And there cannot be a better picture than my idol's....

"INDIA CREATES HISTORY BY CHASING THE FOURTH-HIGHEST TOTAL IN TEST CRICKET"

"INDIAN CRICKET TEAM - THE NEXT NO.1 TEAM IN THE WORLD"

But there doesn't seem to be a better title than this one:
"SACHIN TENDULKAR - THE MESSIAH OF CRICKET IS BACK !!!"

How many people had written off Sachin Tendulkar before this match? Many doubts had aroused in the back of the minds of all those critics who thought it as time from the Master Blaster to retire.

My only answer to them is.... WOULD YOU PLEASE SHUT OFF YOUR GOOFY-SH*T MOUTHS?

It requires a lot of guts to put your hands up and say, "Dude! I am ready to do this job." And there couldn't have been a better volunteer than the most experienced guy in the world cricket team. Like a phoenix rises from the ashes, he rose on the occasion when every avid cricket fan had lost the hopes of saving the match. Not only did The God of Cricket take the team to a famous win but also he proved the world, why was he considered the best human being among cricketers.

His dedication of the match winning century to the people of Mumbai, who are still to heal their wounds, has not applied some amount of comfort in the hearts but has also gained a huge amount of respect from each and every cricket lover from all the parts of the world.

I salute to the numero uno of cricket... The emperor of cricket... And the unconquerable Alexander the Great of Cricket... SACHIN RAMESH TENDULKAR...

By this gesture of yours, you have not only tried to heal our wounds but also have taken an initiative to gift back smiles on the faces of everyone.

Hats Off My Lord!

The Last Kiss (A Soldier's Letter Before War)

Ceaselessly guarding your respect and esteem
I wait for endless chances to serve you
O! Motherland, my blood drops scream
To pay your every debt and due.

Mulling each day as my life's last day
I pen down this letter as my last
Sleeping in your womb is what I pray
Everytime I defend and keep your honour chaste.

All I ask is to carry this last message
To all the beloved people in my life
Kisses is what you shall find in this page
And a bid to avoid conflict and strife.

Starting this note for my beloved parents
I ask you to kiss their holy feet
Who bore my wishes, my ire and rants
Who taught me to fight rather than retreat.

I ask you to kiss my fellow kith and kin
Teaching them a lesson of brotherhood
Praying endlessly for their effortless win
I ask them to avoid hatred and feud.

O! Motherland, please kiss my children
Who may lose the shadow of mine
The gloom of losing me shouldn't rob their fun
Please bless them this patriotic feeling divine.

A special message and a kiss to my better half
Who showered me with support through thick and thin
Chase away her sorrows and make her laugh
Everytime this note touches her heart deep within.

Last but not the least I take this chance
To hug you and cherish this moment of bliss
I beg to sleep in you, after my last war dance
I end by dedicating you my Last Kiss.
